Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a sales- and engineering-oriented professional in NSW to analyze market insights and customer purchasing behavior, executing sales plans aligned with strategy and targets. You will focus on internal customer engagement, with some external visits, ensuring a customer-centric approach and communicating the value of our products and services.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Marine Engineering).
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with CRM and digital tools to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand market insights and the customers' buying behavior and execute sales plans generated by business division with alignment with strategy and targets.
• Primarily focus on internal customer engagement, with some external visits, ensuring a customer-centric approach through understanding needs and effectively communicating the value of our products and services.
• Develop complex and value quotes reflecting the customer needs emphasising the unique selling points and follow up.
• Actively follow up of quotes to understand if the proposed value is understood and if it matches the customer's needs.
• Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process with advanced technical support (including sizing & selection).
• Document all information retrieved from customer during interactions regarding competitors, forecast and all others to contribute to business development.
