Job summary

River Sands, a Brisbane-based manufacturer of packaged construction materials, seeks an enthusiastic Internal Sales Co-ordinator to support our external sales function from Loganholme. You will respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and specifications, provide product advice, and co-ordinate sales tools.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will drive lead generation and strengthen relationships with customers through smart CRM use, while ensuring accurate, timely service and professional

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, sales support or customer service in construction materials is preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, organized with ability to manage multiple leads and priorities.
• Experience liaising with contractors, tradespeople and external reps.
• Strong attention to detail when preparing quotes and technical info.
• Team player who represents the company professionally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the external sales team, marketing and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience
• In a timely manner, provide samples, marketing collateral, product advice and accurate quotes to support and improve the effectiveness of the external sales team
• Help build and protect the company's reputation through professional, responsive customer interactions
• Support the selection centre, generate and manage leads for independent, preferred and experienced contractors.
• Support and improve the effectiveness of the selection centre, including providing product guidance, and matching preferred contractors to generated leads
• Utilise the CRM system to track leads and the sales pipeline, and drive growth
• Proactively communicate with the current customer base to identify opportunities and grow sales
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM to support reporting and decision-making
