Job summary

PCF Workspace Furniture is looking for a capable Internal Sales team member to join our Brendale office, focusing on NSW customers and operations. You’ll handle day-to-day enquiries, quotations and orders, collaborating with NSW colleagues as well as sales, manufacturing and warehousing from our Brendale head office.

As you develop product knowledge, the role will extend into more detailed quoting, interpreting furniture schedules, basic take-offs and assisting with custom pricing.

Responsibilities

• Be the main internal contact for NSW customers.
• Respond to enquiries by phone and email.

• Prepare accurate customer quotations and process sales orders.
• Coordinate with NSW warehouse and sales, production and delivery teams.
• Assist with detailed and custom furniture quotations and taking-off activities.

We're looking for a capable and organised Internal Sales team member to join our Brendale office, with a primary focus on supporting our NSW customers and operations.

At its core, this is a customer-focused internal sales role. You'll manage day-to-day enquiries, quotations and orders for our NSW customers, working closely with our NSW team as well as sales, manufacturing and warehousing from our Brendale head office.

We're looking for someone who can do more than simply process what's put in front of them. We want someone who takes ownership, thinks through what the customer needs and works towards a solution.

As you develop your product knowledge, the role will also extend into more detailed quoting for all clients, interpreting furniture schedules and plans, basic take-offs and assisting with custom furniture pricing.

You don't need commercial furniture experience. We're more interested in finding someone who is switched on, accurate, comfortable with numbers and genuinely enjoys helping customers and getting things done.

What you'll be doing

• Being a key internal point of contact for our NSW customers
• Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
• Providing product information, pricing, availability and lead times
• Preparing accurate customer quotations
• Processing sales orders and preparing sales confirmations
• Following enquiries and orders through to completion
• Helping customers identify suitable products and alternatives
• Liaising with our NSW warehouse and wider sales, production and delivery teams
• Coordinating freight and delivery requirements
• Following up information required to keep orders and quotations moving
• Maintaining accurate customer, quotation and order information within our systems
• Assisting with more detailed and custom furniture quotations
• Reviewing furniture schedules, plans and specifications
• Completing basic take-offs and quantity checks
• Assisting with project pricing and quotation requirements when needed

• An interest in developing your quoting and technical product knowledge

Experience in internal sales, customer service, quoting, construction, cabinetry, joinery, furniture, building products or commercial interiors would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
