Job summary

Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD – Rockhampton is seeking a Project Support Officer to join our Program Support team in Rockhampton. The role provides high‑level business, project and financial support to ensure major road and transport projects are delivered efficiently and in line with governance requirements.

You will work with Program Managers, Project Managers and technical specialists to support procurement governance, financial reconciliations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Provide administrative and business support to assist the delivery of QTRIP projects.
• Assist with project scheduling and program coordination activities.
• Collect, analyse and present information for project, financial and business reporting.
• Support contract administration processes, including progress payments and budget variations.
• Assist Project Managers with procurement governance requirements.
• Contribute to accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reconciliation activities.
• Use SAP, Microsoft Office and other business applications to support project delivery.

Responsibilities
