The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking a Project Support Officer to join our Program Support team in Rockhampton. This role supports the delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP), helping ensure major road and transport projects are delivered efficiently, accurately and in accordance with governance requirements.
Program Delivery and Operations Central Queensland Region delivers and maintains transport infrastructure across a diverse region stretching from the Capricorn Coast to the central-west outback. Working alongside Program Managers, Project Managers and technical specialists, you'll be part of a team delivering infrastructure that supports communities, industry and economic growth throughout Central Queensland.
As a Project Support Officer, you'll provide high-level business, project and financial support across a range of infrastructure programs and projects.
You are organised, adaptable and committed to delivering quality outcomes. You build positive working relationships, communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders and can manage competing priorities effectively. You enjoy learning new systems and processes, use sound judgement when addressing issues and contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement. A current C Class Driver Licence is required, and a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment.
