Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Perth is seeking a Full-Time Chef to join our inflight catering team, delivering high-quality meals for leading airlines. You will work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, preparing bulk dishes to specification and supporting production schedules.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years’ chef experience, Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher), and be able to pass pre-employment checks. We offer 5 weeks leave, free onsite parking, meals, uniforms, and EAP access.

Qualifications

• Full ongoing working rights in Australia.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
• 2+ years’ chef experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
• Availability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays) and to stand for extended periods.
• Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable).
• 5 weeks annual leave and competitive pay rates.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Prepare and cook bulk hot and cold dishes following menu specifications and quality standards.
• Use knife skills and kitchen equipment efficiently, maintain portion control and minimise waste.
• Conduct quality checks and uphold food safety, hygiene policies including HACCP.
• Coordinate catering staff to deliver to production schedules.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
