Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Perth is seeking a dedicated Chef (Asian Cuisine) to join our team and help deliver exceptional inflight dining for major airlines. This is a full-time, on-site role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will prepare Asian cuisines for Economy, Business and First class, ensure HACCP compliance, coordinate staff to meet schedules, and perform basic administrative tasks. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher) or Australian Chef Skill Assessment.
• Experience in modern and traditional Asian cuisines (Japanese, Malay, Chinese, Thai or Singaporean) is highly regarded.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen under pressure.
• Food hygiene knowledge highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce traditional Asian cuisines for Economy, Business and First class passengers.
• Work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Conduct quality checks and uphold food safety policies including HACCP.
• Coordinate catering staff to meet production schedules.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
