Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Perth is seeking a Full-Time Chef to deliver exceptional inflight dining experiences for leading airlines. You will work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, preparing bulk hot and cold dishes, controlling portions, and maintaining high food safety standards.

You will coordinate staff to meet production schedules and handle basic admin tasks. The role requires 2+ years of chef experience, a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, and full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of chef experience
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
• Full ongoing working rights in Australia
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (National Police Check and medical)
• Willingness to work weekends/public holidays and stand for extended periods
• Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Preparing and cooking bulk hot and cold dishes following menu specs.
• Using knife skills and kitchen equipment efficiently; controlling portions and waste.
• Conducting quality checks and upholding food safety and HACCP.
• Coordinating kitchen staff to meet production schedules.
• Demonstrating basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
