dnata catering – Sydney Domestic Airport NSW is seeking a full-time Chef to join our Sydney team, delivering exceptional inflight dining experiences for major airlines. You will work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, preparing bulk dishes to spec and leading a small team to meet production schedules.

The role requires 2+ years as a chef, Australian work rights, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks. We offer 5 weeks annual leave, on-site parking, meals, uniforms, and EAP support.

Qualifications

• Full ongoing working rights in Australia.
• Pass pre-employment checks including National Police Check and medical assessment.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher).
• 2+ years’ Chef experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen under pressure.
• 5 weeks annual leave.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends & public holidays.
• Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Prepare and cook bulk hot and cold dishes per menu specs and maintain quality.
• Use knife skills and equipment efficiently, manage portions and minimise waste.
• Conduct quality checks and uphold food safety and hygiene policies (HACCP).
• Coordinate catering staff to meet production schedules.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
