Job summary

Delta Electronics Australia is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Sales Manager to drive VFD and automation growth across Australia. The role focuses on developing channel partnerships, securing project opportunities, and expanding market share by engaging distributors, OEMs, system integrators, consultants, and end users.

You will lead go-to-market strategies, deliver presentations, and influence project specifications while collaborating with engineering and product teams to provide

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial automation or technical sales in Australia.
• Proven experience selling VFDs, AC drives, motor control solutions.
• Strong channel partner network development and management.
• Ability to travel across Australia and engage multiple stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of energy efficiency, automation technologies and warranties.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of Delta's Industrial Automation and VFD business across Australia.
• Develop and execute market and sales strategies to hit revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in key industries.
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, OEMs, system integrators and end users.
• Expand Delta's channel partner network across Australia.
• Drive project sales activities and influence technical specifications.
• Conduct customer presentations, demonstrations, and product launches.
• Manage forecasting, pipeline, pricing, quotations, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering and product teams on solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and opportunities.
• Manage full sales cycle from opportunity to commissioning and after-sales support.
