Job summary

Schneider Electric in Sydney is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead industrial automation service delivery across our operations. You will manage service contracts and projects, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, cost, and customer outcomes.

You will collaborate with service engineers, sales, operations, and customers, identify growth opportunities, support bids, and provide leadership to engineering teams. Travel may be required; working rights in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience delivering Industrial Automation solutions in complex environments.
• Experience managing service contracts, projects, or customer engagements.
• Strong automation background with major platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, etc.).
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, telemetry, DCS and related technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of service contracts and projects achieving quality, safety, schedule, cost, and commercial objectives.
• Manage planning, risk, change control, cost management, and stakeholder communications across service engagements.
• Deliver maintenance and managed services contracts while achieving agreed SLAs and customer outcomes.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor for operational and commercial discussions.
• Identify and progress service growth opportunities aligned to customer needs.
• Support bids, proposals, pricing activities, and contract reviews.
• Provide functional leadership and coaching to service engineering teams.
• Maintain awareness of industrial automation technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
