Job summary

The Personnel Group in Australia is seeking a dedicated Work Mentor to help customers succeed in employment. The role focuses on coaching, relationship-building, and coordinating supports with employers and service partners in the Wagga Wagga region.

This full-time position runs Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:06pm, with lunch, travel within the region, and occasional flexible hours to support timely outcomes. Applicants must meet NDIS, Police, and Working with Children checks and hold a valid

Qualifications

• Experience in mentoring, employment services, or post-placement support.
• Knowledge of inclusive workplace practices and IEA service phases.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently across different locations.
• Solid administration and documentation skills.
• Commitment to helping people stay in work long-term.
• Required checks: NDIS Clearance, Police Check, Working with Children Check.
• Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in the In-Work phase of IEA services.
• Provide on-site and office-based help to keep customers employed.
• Create and deliver Workplace Assessment Support Plans.
• Work with employers and partners to support job retention.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external services for full customer support.
• Promote inclusive workplace practices and reasonable adjustments.
• Meet servicing requirements and lodge claims accurately.
• Keep clear, accurate records and follow compliance standards.
• Coach customers to handle workplace issues and build confidence.
