Job summary

Department of Human Services (DHS) Kadina Disability Accommodation Services team is seeking a hands-on Team Supervisor who leads by example, promotes active support and empowers people with disability to live independent, fulfilling lives through choice and community participation.

You will coach Disability Services Officers, coordinate rosters and ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and DHS policies, building strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification is required.
• First Aid Certificate is required.
• National Police Check is required.
• Employment-related Screening Check required.

Responsibilities

• Champion active support; ensure clients are involved in daily life and community activities.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching and guidance to Disability Services Officers; promote teamwork and quality care.
• Coordinate staff rosters to ensure safe and consistent service delivery across Kadina sites.
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and DHS policies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, staff and stakeholders.
