Job summary

The Department of Communities and Justice NSW is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a housing services team, delivering client-centred services to vulnerable clients while driving strong operational performance.

You will lead, coach and support staff, balance customer service excellence with business objectives, and ensure services meet policy and legislative requirements across the district. Opportunities exist for future roles in Northern District.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading teams in a complex service delivery environment.
• Strong leadership skills, including coaching, performance management and capability development.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable clients and communities.
• Proven ability to balance customer service delivery with operational priorities and performance targets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Sound decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a high-volume environment.
• Current NSW Driver Licence.
