Job summary

Workforce International is seeking a motivated IT Imaging Technician to join a busy computer repair team in Murarrie, QLD. The role focuses on imaging, configuring, and deploying desktops and laptops, with hands-on hardware work and troubleshooting.

You will install operating systems and drivers, diagnose issues, and prepare devices for customer use, while maintaining accurate repair records. Hours are Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm, paying $36 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with computer hardware is essential.
• Experience with computer imaging, OS installation, and deployment is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and driver installation.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy desktops and laptops.
• Install operating systems, drivers, software, and required updates.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
• Perform hardware testing, upgrades, and component replacements.
• Prepare and configure computers for customer use.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, imaging processes, and completed work.
• Ensure all devices meet quality and performance standards before leaving the workshop.
