Job summary

Aspire Technologies is seeking an ICT Support and Test Engineer to join our Adelaide team. You will provide reliable ICT support, troubleshoot issues, assist with system testing, and contribute to the smooth operation and ongoing improvement of our technology systems and services.

The role involves documenting issues and test results, supporting implementation of technical solutions, and collaborating with staff and clients. A Bachelor's degree and relevant ICT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in ICT support, system testing, or a similar position.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving ICT issues.
• Experience conducting system testing and managing technical incidents and defects.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, networking, and common IT systems will be highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine ICT system checks, including reviewing IT systems, user access, configurations, records, and operational documentation.
• Identify technical issues, system variations, recurring incidents, and potential IT risks, and elevate matters when required.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and resolve hardware, software, operating system, email, printer, network, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, applications, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Test system and application functionality following installations, updates, configuration changes, or repairs.
• Verify that systems are operating correctly and identify and document faults.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and clients.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.
• Support device deployment, software configuration, password management, and endpoint compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and server environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical records, incident reports, troubleshooting guides, system information, configuration records, and IT asset documentation.
• Assist senior technical staff with system improvements and the resolution of complex technical issues.
• Provide basic user training on applications, system access, workstation use, and IT procedures.
