Job summary

Piscinas Aquasafia in Adelaide seeks an ICT Support and Test Engineer to provide day-to-day ICT technical support, troubleshoot hardware/software, maintain IT systems, and perform testing and QA of ICT applications and systems.

The candidate will handle first- and second-level support, install/configure IT equipment, diagnose problems, and ensure system security and availability. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years' relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience in ICT support, system administration, software testing, or a related role.
Good knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and common business applications.
Practical experience in software/application testing and quality assurance.
Familiarity with test case preparation, defect tracking, and test documentation.
Knowledge of databases, SQL, web applications, and basic scripting/programming will be an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level technical support to staff and users.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, software, networks, and other ICT equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system-related problems.
Monitor ICT systems and assist in maintaining system availability, performance, and security.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and other relevant testing of ICT applications and systems.
Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects and technical issues.
Work closely with developers, vendors, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve identified issues.
Maintain accurate records of ICT assets, incidents, service requests, test results, and system documentation.
Assist with system upgrades, deployments, configuration changes, and implementation of new ICT solutions.
Provide user guidance and basic ICT training where required.
Ensure compliance with organizational ICT policies, procedures, and information-security requirements.
Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned.
