Job summary

Technowand seeks an experienced ICT Support and Test Engineer to develop, maintain and manage QA processes and systems infrastructure. In a hybrid role spanning systems support, testing and quality assurance, you will investigate and resolve issues, test behaviour of our systems, and ensure ICT environment adheres to standards.

You will implement procedures, conduct audits, prepare technical documentation and provide second- and third-line support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum one year experience in similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in systems testing, quality assurance, auditing or advanced ICT support roles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across systems, network and application environments.
• Experience developing test plans, QA procedures or technical documentation.
• Sound understanding of ICT standards, compliance and quality control frameworks.

We are seeking an experienced ICT Support and Test Engineer to develop, maintain and manage our technical quality assurance processes and systems infrastructure. This is a hybrid role spanning systems support, testing and quality assurance: you will investigate, analyse and resolve system problems and performance issues, test the behaviour, functionality and integrity of our systems, and ensure our ICT environment adheres to established standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain procedures and strategies to support, create, maintain and manage technical quality assurance processes, guidelines and systems infrastructure
• Test the behaviour, functionality and integrity of systems, applications and infrastructure prior to deployment and following changes, upgrades or patches
• Investigate, analyse and resolve system problems and performance issues across servers, networks, cloud and on-premises environments
• Schedule and conduct quality audit inspections, analysing and reviewing systems, data and documentation against established standards
• Identify variations, non-compliance and potential high-risk areas in adherence to standards and procedures, and track non-compliance through to resolution
• Recommend corrective action plans and improvements to resolve non-compliance detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures
• Conduct systems architecture reviews and recommend future hardware and software strategies and improvements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, test plans, support procedures, knowledge base articles and maintenance records
• Communicate, educate and liaise with users and management to ensure awareness of and adherence to standards, procedures and quality control activities
• Provide advanced (second and third level) technical support for escalated system, network, application and security issues
• Assist with the rollout, validation and post-implementation testing of new systems, applications and infrastructure projects
• Provide approved onsite technical support and testing at customer sites where required

About you
