Tyro Payments is expanding its Technology team with a Sales Engineering Lead to head a new function focused on enterprise merchants and integration partners. You will own technical feasibility, drive complex integrations from design to go-live, and coach a growing team while staying closely connected to customers and delivery.

You will collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, Product and Engineering to accelerate time to first transaction, shape scalable APIs, and improve developer experience across

Qualifications

• Experience with APIs and integration patterns across backend systems.
• Proven ability to design integration solutions and read code for complex projects.
• Hands-on leadership experience mentoring technical staff while delivering customer value.

Responsibilities

• Build the Function: Recruit and grow a small team of Sales Engineers, establishing playbooks, reference architectures and effective ways of working.
• Lead Complex Integrations: Own high-value enterprise and partner integrations from design through go-live.
• Accelerate Time to Value: Drive integrations to a fast first successful transaction and remove blockers.
