Job summary

Atlas Partners is seeking a mid-senior payroll officer to join our team in Melbourne. You will manage end-to-end contractor payroll for a high-volume client base, ensure compliance with superannuation and Modern Awards, and onboard contractors and employees.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years' payroll experience, preferably in outsourced or recruitment payroll environments, with a customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, ideally in outsourced or recruitment payroll environments.
• Solid understanding of contractor payroll, Modern Awards and EBAs.
• Exposure to UK payroll is an advantage.
• Experience with onboarding of contractors and employees.
• Responding to client and contractor queries on timesheets and payroll.
• Support the Implementation team with client go-lives and document/improve processes.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end contractor payroll for a high-volume client base.
• Superannuation, legislative and statutory compliance obligations.
• Contractor and employee onboarding.
• Responding to client and contractor queries on timesheets and payroll.
• Supporting the Implementation team with client go-lives.
• Documenting and improving processes as the team scales.
• Contributing to sales support - quotes, proposals and presentations as needed.
