People First Bank is seeking a Business Development Manager to connect our mortgage broker network across Adelaide or Brisbane and drive sustainable home lending growth.

Reporting to the Lending & Insights team, you will establish and nurture a high-performing broker network aligned to our strategic objectives. Lead accreditation, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management programs to ensure broker success.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within the home lending and broker channel.
• Understanding of the broker market and relationships.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in home lending.
• Experience within credit risk frameworks and risk appetite.
• Strong knowledge of real estate lending practices and mortgage broking.
• Demonstrated success achieving lending growth and performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Proactive day-to-day management of broker partnerships to grow the broker business.
• Develop and implement growth plans to acquire and nurture broker partnerships.
• Lead broker accreditation, onboarding and ongoing relationship management programs.
• Build internal partnerships to deliver the broker proposition in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Attend industry events to expand broker networks.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the broker lending team.
