Job summary

People First Bank is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth through our broker network across Adelaide or Brisbane. You will report to the Lending & Insights team and shape strategies to expand sustainable home lending while delivering exceptional broker and customer experiences.

Responsibilities include leading broker partnerships, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration to meet KPIs. A strong sales background in mortgage lending with risk awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in home lending.
• Experience in broker channel and mortgage lending growth.
• Understanding of risk frameworks and credit risk.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage broker partnerships to grow the broker business.
• Develop and implement growth plans to acquire and nurture broker partnerships.
• Lead broker accreditation, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
• Build strong internal partnerships to deliver the broker proposition against SLAs/KPIs.
• Attend industry events to expand broker networks.
• Provide leadership and support to the broker lending team.
