Job summary

Boyce is seeking an IT Systems Support Officer to join its Technology Team in Sydney. You will provide first-level IT support, manage asset provisioning and work with our MSP to resolve issues efficiently.

The role focuses on delivering great service, empowering users, and maintaining a broad range of technologies and business systems across multiple offices. A proactive, customer‑facing mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technology support, help desk or IT systems support role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft desktop technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to support requests.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive first-level IT support to Boyce team members across multiple locations.
• Manage IT support queues, ticketing systems and infrastructure inboxes for timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding and technology provisioning.
• Maintain and manage Boyce's fleet of technology assets (laptops, accessories, equipment).
• Support software deployment, device configuration and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with Managed Service Provider to monitor service levels and escalate issues.
• Assist with procurement and maintain technology stock levels.
• Deliver user training and guidance for optimal tech use.
• Contribute to technology projects and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain Documentation and standard operating procedures for IT services.
