Job summary

FutureYou in Sydney is seeking an IT Support Officer to take ownership of user requests, troubleshoot workplace technology, and support cloud services. This role offers exposure beyond traditional helpdesk and requires strong service orientation.

You will work four days in the office with one day remote, manage user access, security, and asset records, and collaborate with IT partners on projects as the environment evolves.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a hands-on IT support environment.
• Strong experience troubleshooting workplace technology and business applications.
• Solid understanding of modern cloud and SaaS environments.
• Experience managing user access, permissions and technology services.
• Ability to investigate problems logically and resolve them.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of incoming technology requests and ensuring timely outcomes.
• Investigating incidents and technical problems across workplace systems.
• Assisting employees with day-to-day technology challenges and providing practical solutions.
• Administering user access and maintaining security across core systems.
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of business applications and cloud services.
• Monitoring performance and availability of key workplace technologies.
• Maintaining IT records, documentation and asset information.
• Collaborating with IT partners on more complex technical matters.
• Coordinating technology changes and identifying recurring issues for improvements.
