Job summary

Unisys is seeking a field service technician to perform hardware repair and on-site support across enterprise hardware, including servers, storage, desktops, and laptops. You will diagnose faults, replace components, and ensure systems are operating optimally within customer environments in the Mackay region.

Experience with Dell/Lenovo/HPE/Cisco hardware is highly valued. Strong customer service, documentation, and the ability to travel between sites are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in computer hardware repair, field services, desktop support, or technical support environments.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace failed hardware components on enterprise-grade hardware (servers, storage, desktops, notebooks).
• Perform break/fix maintenance and on-site service.
• Install, configure, and cable network infrastructure (switches, routers, APs).
• Document actions and communicate status to customers.
• Travel within Mackay region to service sites as required.
