Job summary

Unisys is seeking a field engineer to install, repair and maintain product hardware and software at customer sites across Australia. You will manage on-site service activities, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely problem resolution.

The role requires 2+ years of field experience, a technical certification or associate degree, and Australian citizenship with security clearance (NV1/NV2).

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of hands-on field engineering or related technical support experience.
• Australian Citizen with active Australian Security Clearance - NV1/NV2 is mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and provides maintenance for hardware and software at customer premises.
• Manages scheduling, administration and customer communication to ensure satisfaction with service delivery.
• Provides full range of field engineering support for large and complex clients and takes ownership of onsite activity.
• Performs advanced maintenance and scheduled installs; uses advanced tools to resolve client problems.
• Contributes to service improvements by providing technical feedback and reporting metrics.
