Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer to support specific clients and products, including tech kiosks and desks. You will install and maintain PCs, servers, networks, and related software, providing hardware and software support across a range of devices.

You will handle installations, moves, and changes, test and certify systems, and assist with problem escalations while maintaining professionalism and meeting SLA requirements for client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May require technical certification or Associate Degree.
• Generally, 1–2 years' experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Field Engineer for specific clients and/or products and applications, including tech kiosks/desks.
• Provides software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, servers, network devices.
• Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers, peripherals and other networked devices.
• Supports network products from both operational and maintenance perspectives, including preventative maintenance activities.
• Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.
• Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications.
• Provides follow-up on problems or escalations.
• Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.
• Meets SLA requirements and ensures client satisfaction in all interactions.
