Job summary

Pickles Auctions is seeking a Collections Officer in Adelaide, SA for a permanent, hybrid role (2 days in office, 3 days remote). Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with internal relocation options across branches.

You will handle buyer payment enquiries, allocate receipts within KPIs, and drive timely collections to support asset delivery. You will work with operations and sales to resolve payment issues, coordinate with the Cashbook team on funds, and liaise with brokers and lenders to assist

Qualifications

• Experience with financial systems and ERP tools, especially Dynamics 365.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Demonstrates initiative and high integrity in tasks and reporting.
• Able to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to buyer enquiries regarding receipt or allocation of payments.
• Ensure buyer receipts are allocated within KPI targets to enable prompt asset delivery.
• Contact buyers with outstanding invoices to collect unpaid balances.
• Collaborate with operations and sales to manage payment-related processes and cancellations.
• Communicate information promptly to administration, sales and operations teams.
• Respond to buyer inquiries promptly and professionally per Pickles procedures.
• Assist with investigating unknown funds and liaising with the Cashbook team.
• Prepare finance invoices and letters, liaising with brokers and lenders for timely settlement.
