Job summary

IPF Digital Australia is seeking a Collections Operations Specialist to support day-to-day management of collections processes across the customer lifecycle, from pre-reminder to external collections. Based in Sydney, you will contribute to operational excellence, ensure compliance, and coordinate with outsourced partners.

You will monitor KPIs, drive improvements, deliver onboarding and training for teams, and support governance and audits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Collections experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of relevant legislation.
• Awareness of Bankruptcy Act, NCCP, Debt Collection Guidelines, Privacy Act, and Code of Banking Practice.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded and proactive.
• Analytical, numerate and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily execution of collections processes from pre-reminder to external collections.
• Coordinate debt sale activities and recall processes as required.
• Manage external collection agencies and validate invoices.
• Support complaints, escalations, and operational incidents.
• Deliver onboarding and refresher training for teams.
• Assist with governance, approvals, and audits.
• Participate in projects and system implementations.
• Prepare and review operational reports and KPIs.
