StateCover in Ballina, NSW, is seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our dedicated Claims team, managing a portfolio of workers' compensation claims with a focus on early intervention and getting injured workers back to work. This role offers hybrid working arrangements from our Ballina location.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of claims, collaborating with injury management specialists and technical advisors to achieve cost-effective, compliant outcomes while delivering compassionate

Qualifications

• Experience in case management is preferred but not essential.
• Experience working in a highly resilient team that works together to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supporting injured workers with early intervention, optimising medical treatment and rehabilitation to promote and support recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
• Reviewing, assessing and determining workers compensation benefits including weekly compensation, medical treatment and work capacity decisions.
• Managing both physical and psychological injuries, some of which require legal considerations and coordinating investigations.
• Applying legislative frameworks strategically to achieve cost-effective, compliant outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with Members, proactively communicating developments and collaborating on claims strategies.
• You will be supported by injury management specialists, technical advisors and enabling true collaboration on the most challenging claims.
