Job summary

Babcock Australasia seeks an Applications Support Analyst in Adelaide, SA, to support a diverse portfolio of business applications across on-prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security and value from the portfolio.

You will contribute to incident resolution, testing, change management, and documentation, while driving improvements and supporting solution delivery in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship with a Defence Security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
• Experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise business applications.
• Exposure to both On Prem + Cloud applications (COTS and custom-developed).
• Administration and support with Jira Cloud, Jira Data Centre and Confluence.
• Experience working with application vendors and external service providers.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management, incident & change management.
• Experience with testing, release management and system integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests and issues.
• Perform application configuration and administration activities.
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Support delivery of application enhancements and upgrades.
• Contribute to system integration activities and testing.
• Provide guidance to users to maximise application effectiveness.
• Produce and maintain operational, technical and support documentation.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers and project teams.
