Job summary

NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to maintain and troubleshoot enterprise applications across the organisation. The role is full-time with a 35-hour week and hybrid/flexible working arrangements considered at Sydney Olympic Park.

You will monitor performance, resolve incidents, and collaborate with IT and business teams to implement improvements while aligning with NSW Government ICT standards. Salary ranges from $118,562 to $131,233 plus 12% super.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical role supporting enterprise applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and enhance systems.
• Proactive incident investigation and resolution within SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support, troubleshooting and maintenance for enterprise applications and systems.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and production issues including root‑cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Monitor application performance, availability and reliability ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to deliver application improvements ensuring compliance with NSW Government ICT standards and best practices.
