Job summary

Central Coast Council NSW is seeking a qualified Applications Support professional to maintain and enhance its enterprise application systems from the Wyong admin site. The role supports a 24/7 on-call model, with hybrid working options and a focus on reliability, security and user-focused improvements.

You will coordinate updates, testing, integrations and documentation while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver practical system outcomes that support community

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering or a related field; or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role combined with ongoing professional development
• Experience supporting enterprise application systems within a complex organisational environment
• Experience contributing to customer-focused technology solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience with application update cycles, testing protocols and operational support
• Ability to support system integrations and maintain documentation, user guides and training resources
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current Class C NSW Driver Licence

Responsibilities

• Providing proactive support for Council's enterprise application systems to minimise disruption and maintain service reliability.
• Assisting with the planning, testing and implementation of application updates and improvements.
• Supporting integrations between core and secondary systems to enable secure and seamless information flow.
• Contributing to customer-focused technology solutions that streamline workflows and improve user experience.
• Developing and maintaining clear documentation, user guides and training resources.
• Working collaboratively with team members, stakeholders and external partners to deliver practical system outcomes.
• Participating in on-call support, including incident response and escalation when required.
