Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our Business Solutions team in Adelaide. You will provide operational support for a diverse portfolio of business applications, including On Prem and Cloud solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and fit-for-purpose outcomes while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise business applications.
• Exposure to both commercial off-the-shelf and custom-developed applications - both On Prem + Cloud.
• Administration and support experience with Jira Cloud, Jira Data Centre, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management principles, incident management, and change management processes.
• Experience with application testing, release management, and system integrations.
• Australian Citizenship with Defence Security clearance (or the ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests, and system issues.
• Perform application configuration and administration activities.
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Support the delivery of application enhancements and upgrades.
• Contribute to system integration activities, assist with testing and change implementation.
• Provide advice and guidance to users to maximise application effectiveness.
• Produce and maintain operational, technical, and support documentation.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, and work with solution architects, developers and project teams.
