Job summary

Aggreko in Western Australia is seeking a Technical HVAC Sales Engineer / Specialist to deliver tailored temperature control solutions across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. You will engage with mechanical contractors, building owners, and facility managers to design, propose, and close HVAC projects.

You will perform site assessments, load calculations, and equipment selections; deliver technical presentations and trainings; manage the full sales cycle from lead to close; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Significant HVAC sales experience may substitute 3–8+ years of technical sales exposure.
• Solid understanding of HVAC fundamentals and energy efficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and control sequences.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments, load calculations, and system evaluations to recommend HVAC equipment and designs.
• Prepare sales proposals, equipment selections, specifications, and submittals.
• Deliver technical presentations, trainings, and lunch‑and‑learn sessions.
• Manage full sales process from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, developers, and facility owners.
• Track opportunities and customer interactions in CRM and meet sales targets.
