Job summary

Veolia is seeking a dynamic HR Services Team Leader to guide a team of HR Coordinators across multiple locations (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide), delivering employee lifecycle activities and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You will drive operational excellence, manage a high-volume ServiceNow queue, maintain data in SuccessFactors, and foster a high-performing, customer-focused HR service culture with flexible hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Tertiary HR qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Experience delivering KPI targets in customer service.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Experience with HR systems; SuccessFactors & ServiceNow preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Process improvement capabilities.
• Knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of HR Coordinators across multiple locations.
• Oversee a high-volume ServiceNow queue, triaging and allocating requests, balancing workloads, monitoring progress and escalating issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and changes.
• Maintain accurate employee and position data in SuccessFactors and ensure proper records handling.
• Build effective relationships with HRBPs, business managers, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and IT.
• Monitor service performance against KPIs and SLAs, identify issues and drive improvements.
• Set clear expectations, support team performance and develop a customer-focused service.
