Social Services Regulator (SSR) in Melbourne is seeking an HR and Recruitment Advisor to deliver practical HR advisory and recruitment services across People and Culture functions. The Advisor will provide timely, accurate advice on employment matters and help ensure processes are efficient and compliant with VPS policies and organisational requirements.

• Provide timely, accurate and practical advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of employment matters, including employment conditions, policies, procedures and general HR issues.
• Provide advice and support to hiring managers through the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including coordinating specific recruitment activities and ensuring that recruitment processes are timely, efficient, and consistent with VPS and organisational policies.
• Coordinate and administer a range of employee lifecycle activities, including appointments, internal assignments, secondments and transfers, separations and other employment transactions, ensuing accurate records and compliance with relevant policies and organisational requirements.

THE ROLEThe HR and Recruitment Advisor provides responsive and practical HR advisory and recruitment services to support the effective delivery of People and Culture functions across the organisation. The role delivers recruitment and employment lifecycle activities, provides advice and guidance to managers and employees, and contributes to the delivery of efficient, consistent and customer-focussed HR services.
