Job summary

Social Services Regulator (SSR) in Melbourne is seeking an HR and Recruitment Advisor to deliver practical HR advisory and recruitment services across People and Culture functions. The role focuses on end-to-end recruitment processes, employment lifecycle activities, and guidance to managers and staff.

The Advisor will provide timely, accurate advice on employment matters and help ensure processes are efficient and compliant with VPS policies and organisational requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR advisory services.
• Experience coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Knowledge of employee lifecycle activities and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate and practical advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of employment matters, including employment conditions, policies, procedures and general HR issues.
• Provide advice and support to hiring managers through the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including coordinating specific recruitment activities and ensuring that recruitment processes are timely, efficient, and consistent with VPS and organisational policies.
• Coordinate and administer a range of employee lifecycle activities, including appointments, internal assignments, secondments and transfers, separations and other employment transactions, ensuing accurate records and compliance with relevant policies and organisational requirements.
