Job summary

Quinn Allan in Melbourne is seeking an HR Advisor to flex their advisory and generalist skills, starting immediately with a view to permanent. The organisation values practical, proactive HR support across the employee lifecycle and related programs.

You will back the HRBP on awards, contracts, investigations, onboarding and offboarding, with some HR reporting and project work. Experience with employment relations and not necessarily HRIS is preferred, and you’ll thrive in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR advisor at generalist level covering employee lifecycle.
• Depth in employment relations and performance support to leaders.
• Ability to work without HRIS with a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the HRBP as a generalist with employee lifecycle matters.
• Provide sound advice on awards, contracts, processes with performance and investigations.
• Assist on boarding/off boarding, HR reporting and administration.
• Contribute to projects as they arise.

The Organisation
They are a purpose led organisation with branch networks. HR works across all areas of the business and has outstanding relationships in place. Their advice is valued and listened to.
The Role
Support the HRBP as a generalist with employee life cycle matters, provide sound advice on awards, contracts, process with performance and investigations, on and off boarding, some HR reporting and administration and projects as they arise. Knowledge of WHS, and notifiable incidents etc would be highly regarded. Salary commensurate at this level and does not require higher level experience. Salary circa $100k plus super.
The Fit
You are experienced and credentialed in HR to advisory level and generalist HR support is what you are good at. This role does require some depth with employment relations and performance support to leaders. Working without HRIS with a resourceful and proactive approach is also what they need right now. Excellent communication and engagement skills, able to prioritise and work to deadlines is key. This role could be full time or reduced hours over five days with flex, starting immediately.
