Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its People & Culture team in Sydney. You will provide practical HR advice across a diverse workforce, partnering with senior leaders on a broad range of people matters.

This generalist role covers workforce planning, employee relations, learning and development, and day-to-day HR support to ensure a positive employee experience across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and contemporary HR practices.
• Exposure to Employee Relations including performance management, conduct and workplace matters.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.

The Opportunity:

An industry-leading organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its People & Culture team.

Supporting senior HR leaders, you'll provide practical HR advice across a diverse workforce while partnering closely with leaders on a broad range of people matters.

This is a true generalist position with responsibilities spanning workforce planning, talent activities, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and day-to-day HR support. You'll play an important role in helping leaders make informed people decisions while ensuring a positive employee experience across the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide practical HR advice and support to leaders and employees.

What You'll Need:

• Experience in an HR Advisor, P&C Advisor or similar generalist HR position.
• Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and contemporary HR practices.
• A strong HR generalist background, with exposure to Employee Relations including performance management, conduct and workplace matters.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Previous experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, civil, mining or similar operational environments will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
