Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice – Tweed Heads South NSW is seeking a Team Leader to guide a client-centered housing services team. You will lead staff to deliver high-quality support for vulnerable clients and drive strong operational performance.

You will balance customer service excellence with business objectives, supporting staff to handle complex client needs and ensuring adherence to policy and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading teams in a complex service delivery environment.
• Strong leadership skills, including coaching, performance management and capability development.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable clients and communities.
• Proven ability to balance customer service delivery with operational priorities and performance targets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Sound decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a high-volume environment.
• Current NSW Driver Licence.
