Job summary

Mission Australia Housing is seeking an Operations Support Officer in Toowoomba, 21 hours per week, flexible 3 or 4 days. You will support tenancy, allocations, maintenance and customer service while collaborating with tenants, contractors and internal teams to deliver housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong administration and organisational skills within housing, social housing, or property management.
• Outstanding customer service and ability to engage with diverse tenants.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and admin support across housing services, including tenancy management, allocations, maintenance coordination.
• Coordinate property offers, allocations and viewings, ensuring a positive applicant experience.
• Provide relief for Housing Officer and Asset Officer as required.
• Maintain accurate tenant, property and operational records.
• Triage and manage maintenance requests with contractors and internal teams.
• Engage with tenants and community partners to support outcomes.
• Assist with tenant engagement, referrals to support services, and complaints resolution.
