Job summary

Mission Australia is seeking a Housing Content Lead – Staff Resources to shape knowledge sharing across Housing Operations. You will create, review and improve staff resources, transforming complex processes into practical resources for staff capability and service quality.

You will collaborate with operational leaders and SMEs, drive documentation governance, and support readiness for new projects, ensuring accessible, high‑quality content for nationwide teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in communications, writing, business, public policy or related field.
• Experience creating, reviewing and improving operational resources and procedural documentation.
• Ability to transform complex information into clear, practical content.
• Strong editing, proofreading and document development capabilities.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and feedback incorporation skills.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and consultation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality operational resources for Housing Operations.
• Create new staff-facing documentation to support projects and service growth.
• Review and enhance existing documents for clarity and consistency.
• Translate complex processes into practical, user‑friendly resources.
• Manage the full document development lifecycle from concept to publication.
• Collaborate with SMEs and frontline teams to validate content.
• Facilitate workshops and consultations to support resource development.
• Maintain governance with version control, registers and schedules.
• Support readiness for new projects, systems or service changes.
• Drive continuous improvement in content and staff experience.
