Job summary

Crowne Plaza Terrigal, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our hotel restaurant in Terrigal, NSW. This full-time role oversees daily operations, staffing, and service delivery to ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.

You will drive revenue growth while upholding brand standards, lead a skilled team, and collaborate with hotel management and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and exemplary guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar senior hospitality role.
• Experience in hotel or upscale dining environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and revenue management experience.
• Outstanding customer service and guest experience focus.
• Proficiency with restaurant management systems and POS software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations including daily service, staffing, scheduling and performance management.
• Hands-on involvement in all service periods.
• Manage budgets, control costs and maximise profitability while maintaining service standards.
• Lead, train, mentor and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and hygiene regulations and policies.
• Create strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty, including menu development.
• Monitor inventory, ordering and stock management to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
• Manage reservations and guest complaints with professionalism.
• Collaborate with hotel management, kitchen and other departments for seamless service.
• Maintain records including sales reports and staff timesheets.
• Drive revenue through upselling, events and catering opportunities.
