Job summary

Moore Park View Hotel in Sydney's Moore Park is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our on-site operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role demands strategic leadership, financial stewardship and a passion for hospitality.

You will oversee daily operations, manage budgets, drive revenue and mentor a diverse team, while upholding RSA, RSG and TAB certifications and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hotel management or senior supervisory roles within hospitality.
• Proven track record of managing full-service hotels or similar establishments.
• Strong financial acumen including budget management, revenue forecasting and profit optimization.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Outstanding customer service orientation focused on guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Knowledge of hospitality management systems and booking platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Current RSA, RSG and TAB certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily hotel operations, and food and beverage services.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise food and beverage rates, revenue and profitability.
• Manage budgets, control costs and ensure efficient use of resources across all departments.
• Recruit, train, motivate and supervise hotel staff, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations and industry standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Liaise with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and attract new business.
• Maintain property standards and coordinate maintenance and renovation projects.
• Analyse performance metrics and prepare financial reports for senior management.
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partner organisations.
