Job summary

Accor is recruiting a Duty Manager or experienced Front Office Supervisor for ibis Styles Sydney Central. Located near Surry Hills and Oxford Street with 413 rooms, this role guides daily Front Office operations and customer service.

You’ll lead a team, resolve guest issues, and coordinate in-the-moment responses, with a flexible roster including mornings, evenings and overnights. RSA/CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the hotel industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Opera/Opera Cloud, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Guest-obsessed focus with ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership qualities with ability to support colleagues and maintain interdepartmental communication.
• Clear and confident communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Willingness to work flexible, rotating shifts (morning/evening/overnight).
• Valid RSA, CPR and First Aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Assist and oversee day-to-day Front Office operations.
• Supervise and mentor team members to motivate the whole team.
• Ensure smooth hotel operations in absence of senior management with high service levels.
• Resolve guest complaints and issues to achieve win-win outcomes.
• Assist with guest check-in/check-out processes.
• Respond to and coordinate emergency situations.
