Job summary

Colonial Group in Port Douglas is seeking aHotel All Rounder on a flexible, rotating schedule to support Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Front Office. You will deliver guest-focused service, maintain safety and comfort, and help create memorable stays across all departments.

Applicants should be ready to work nights, weekends and holidays with a positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork. RSA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing hospitality role is a plus.
• RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory.
• Flexible rotating schedule including nights, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

As a Hotel All Rounder, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations, seamlessly transitioning between Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Front Office. • Offer personalised food and beverage suggestions, whether in our outlets or during events leaving a lasting impression on our guests
• Proactively source information to expand your product knowledge
• Be the go-to source for information on neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems
• From check-in to check-out, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional hospitality, ensuring that our guests have a memorable stay
• Confidently communicate with both guests and colleagues enabling seamless teamwork

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a customer facing hospitality role is a plus
• Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
• Genuine passion for guest care, engaging with patrons and collaborating within a team of diverse professionals
• Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays
