Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a hands-on Rostering Product Owner to optimize multi-site hospitality rosters in Sydney and across NSW. You’ll own UKG Pro WFM, work with finance and venue managers, and drive cost savings by adjusting casual vs part-time mix while staying compliant with Awards and legislation.

You''ll spend time on the venue floor during peak periods to validate rostering outcomes and report on wage drivers, with support from a senior leadership team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM or Kronos-based systems.
• Experience rostering for a workforce with casual and part-time staff.
• Ability to translate rostering data into cost savings insights.
• Strong Excel skills and reporting capability.

Responsibilities

• Review rosters across all venues and challenge repetitive patterns.
• Identify savings through better rostering and staff mix.
• Track wage cost by venue and explain drivers to managers.
• Own UKG Pro WFM, prioritising changes with IT and People & Culture.
• Ensure rostering complies with Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislation.
• Spend time on the floor during busy periods to validate rostering in practice.
