Job summary

Mercure Perth, located in the Perth CBD, seeks a Groups & Reservations Manager to oversee all group bookings, airline groups, and room allocations while coordinating with departments to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional service.

You will build relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies, quote group rates, handle inquiries, and train the Front Office team on airline group processing. Fluency in English and experience in hospitality software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations management or group sales coordination in hospitality.
• Proficient with reservations systems and CRM software.
• Strong organization and multitasking with diverse clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process group reservations and bookings using reservations management systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies and airline reps.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, housekeeping and front desk to meet group requirements.
• Quote group rates and packages.
• Handle inquiries and special requests; resolve conflicts professionally.
• Monitor group booking trends and prepare forecasts and reports.
• Train Front Office team on service standards and airline group processing.
• Maintain detailed records of group bookings and contracts.
• Analyze reservation data to identify improvements.
• Ensure all group events are documented and post-event follow-up.
• Check commission against rates and finalize invoices.
• Ad hoc end of month reporting.
