My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our team in Ardlethan, NSW. The role involves providing person-centred care, companionship, and practical support to clients, with travel to the Ardlethan area as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in domestic assistance, transport support, and strong documentation skills, along with current First Aid and a willingness to obtain a police check. We offer flexible scheduling and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Certification in First Aid and willingness to obtain a police check will support your application.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing.
• Carry out light household duties including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour and report concerns promptly.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.

Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus

A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one

Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care

Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
